An opportunity has arisen for a sales and account manager to join the team and help drive sales forward across their range of events selling exhibition space and sponsorship packages across the Healthcare sector. Events range from branded events linked to their publications, national association events and bespoke medical events including seminars.

The main responsibilities are as follows:

* Selling sponsorship and exhibition space to pharmaceutical and Healthcare service suppliers using telephone and face-to-face sales contact
* Developing new relationships as well as account managing existing clients. The role will involve overseeing projects from conception to delivery.
* Regular financial reporting sales figures to the Head of Events
* Ultimately increasing revenue and hitting targets set across a range of events

This is an exciting but challenging opportunity to take on a role that is genuinely cross-functional, encompassing both sales and account management.

The successful candidate might be someone with solid experience in selling events and looking for a new challenge or it could be an experienced individual that has been selling to pharmaceutical clients who is looking to broaden their experience base.
